Officially Pregnant :)

Clint and I went to our first Dr appointment Wed morning. We of course knew we were there because we are having a baby, but it didn't seem official until we had the ultra-sound. Yes, we got to see our little baby. We definitely were not making up this pregnancy! What a relief. We are 9 weeks, and baby is an inch long. Looks like we are well on our way to having a tall baby just like clint :) We can't wait to go back in 4 weeks!

On a not so happy note: I don't remember pregnancy being like this. Never knowing when i won't feel good, and being tired all the time. But the worst part is that i can't stand what i used to love. Let's use diet coke for an example. I used to love diet coke. Once i found out i was pregnant, i stopped drinking energy drinks, and thought maybe i could sneak in a diet coke here and there. But no. The thought of it makes me want to die. The only thing i can drink right now is water, just plain water, or juice. Not even water with the crystal light flavor packets :( Occasionally i'll have a sprite or maybe a gatorade.

Then moving on to being tired. My day goes something like this : wake up by 7:30 (not by choice of course, apparently that's what i do when i'm pregnant. but the good thing is that's when clint is making breakfast, so he can make me some too!) Get ready for work, go to work, come home, eat dinner, hang out for a little bit then go to bed at 9. Yes i said it, 9 pm. Clint tells me i go to bed way too early now. He doesn't like it.
BUT other then that, being pregnant is great, and the worst part is almost over.

Another exciting thing is makayla started preschool this week. She has been SO excited to start, and has talked about it for a few weeks. A lady in our stake does preschool at her house, and when we found out she had an opening, we signed makayla right up! She goes tues, wed, thurs, 2 hours a day. She loves it. When i went to pick her up her first day she said " Mom i wish i could stay here for a long long time. Can i come back tomorrow?" Luckily she was going back the next two days. Hopefully she will love it all year, and hopefully it gets her ready for kindergarten next year!
